The CDA-117Ri is designed for real music fans. It plays all your favourite sources with truly excellent sound quality, thanks to a 24-bit DAC, high-quality parts and advanced sound processing features like Digital Time Correction, Parametric Equaliser, Graphic Equaliser, and Alpine’s exclusive MediaXpander.
If you like to fine-tune your system sound, this is the model for you. Digital Time Correction lets you compensate for varying speaker distances so you hear all the channels at the same time. You can also customise the sound with a 7-band graphic EQ, 5-band parametric EQ and High Pass Filter control. In addition, Auto Volume adjusts the volume level according to driving speed and road noise.

If you have a Bluetooth-enabled phone, you’ll want to add the KCE-400BT

MediaXpander Makes It Sound Better
iPod and other MP3 players sound good, but not as good as the original because the data is compressed. To get you much closer to that pristine sound, Alpine developed the MediaXpander. It enhances the frequency ranges where the sound is compressed, restoring the original vibrancy.

precision and virtually eliminates interference from multipath and
adjacent channels. As a result, you enjoy crystal clear radio reception

The CDA-117Ri provides a high-performance USB 2.0 connection that accepts a wide range of USB sticks and hard drives. Alpine’s Tag Banking feature increases file reading speed to three times that of previous models and is also capable of reading up to 20,000 songs.
