Watch a movie or just listen to music – the equipment of the new ZENEC 2-DIN naviceiver leaves nothing to be desired. The integrated CD/DVD drive plays all common formats – including CD, MP3, WMA, DVD, VCD, SVCD, JPEG – and with its electronic and mechanical anti-shock system, it provides clear picture and sound playback during the drive. The integrated tuner module is a perfect system solution guaranteeing comprehensive software control of all RDS functions, providing top radio reception even under difficult conditions, and enabling optimal conformation to various vehicle models.

Simple use

The highest quality TFT LCD panel is used in the new ZE-NC524. Even under less than optimal lighting conditions, the panel delivers sharp, brilliant, high-contrast top-grade pictures. Using the naviceiver is a breeze, with easy control of all functions on the touch panel. The graphic user interface has been improved to be even more attractive and user-friendly: the menu navigation is understandable at first sight and intuitively useable. With the touchscreen panel, you can control all functions comfortably. A dual main GUI (graphic user interface) with two main levels and large control icons ensure that you can unerringly use the ZENEC on the road.

The GPS-Navigation

Accurately navigate in Western and Eastern Europe and with full control of your actions via touch screen – the ZE-NC524 will guide you through 43 countries in a fast and very reliable way. Clear and detailed map views with 3-D objects to orient yourself, combined with precise voice guidance in 24 different languages, and an easily understandable GUI functionality available in 29 languages, enable a unique navigation experience.

Thanks to a 400 MHz processor (64 MB SD RAM memory) and the optimized navigation engine of the iGo8 software – the ZE-NC524 delivers top class performance with unbelievable smooth motion.

The desired target can be found and entered in various ways: by address, postal ZIP code, P.O.I., longitude and latitude and stored/last found targets.

The map representation can be adjusted to on-standard driving situations by selecting between various display scales and angles. The zoom function eases the navigation at crossings and at roundabouts, but most of all the 3-D landscape or 3-D city maps (with buildings, objects of interest, city plans) and of course the display of the highway traffic signs are features you will not like to miss once you had the chance to use.

The ZE-NC524 is equipped with a Bluetooth module from the leading hands-free specialist Parrot – a novelty in this price class! This BT solution based on the CK5000NEW chip set offers excellent voice quality. The caller’s number, phone book entries, and further information are clearly shown on the moniceiver’s display. The ZE-NC524’s address book is automatically synchronised with the mobile phone’s entries. The Parrot module enables a very simple search for phone book entries using initial letters.

iPod und iPhone ready

The new ZE-NC524 moniceiver is, of course, compatible with iPods and iPhones. Using a cable on the rear side, an iPod/iPhone can be easily connected with the help of a separately available interface cable. You control them by touchscreen (just audio) and, if desired, it’s no problem removing them. Needless to say, that while playing, the iPod or iPhone is also charging. Video playback must be controlled directly on the iPod/iPhone.

ZENEC‘s new top-of-the-line model fits together visually with all automobiles belonging to the GOLF V and GOLF VI lines – the VW Golf VI, Golf V, Tiguan, Eos, Passat, Passat CC, Jetta, Caddy, Touran, Scirocco.

The white button illumination and the customized design of the front panel makes the E>GO not only perfect for the respective look of the car interior, but the E>GO is also effortlessly integrated into the existing automotive electronics. ZE-NC2010 can be installed into the original dash board of the GOLF V and GOLF VI without further modifications and without any additional adapters: simply take out the factory radio, put in the E>GO and drive off.

Even the connection of the factory-made steering wheel remote control is no problem: simply connect the E>GO to the existing plug – the functionality of the factory installed components is preserved.

Factory-installed steering wheel remote controls stay fully functional with E>GO: The A/V functions of the E>GOs are connected to the steering wheel remote control via Interface with the FORD CAN-Bus. Each A/V source (radio, MP3, USB, etc.) including the hands-free function can be easily operated – ex factory - via the steering wheel remote control.

The new Parrot Bluetooth module marks an improvement in mobile communication: advanced signal processing technology, the so called Parrot Beamforming, is provided through a multi-directional, freely positionable microphone which is easily attached to the A-column. With this technology, all surrounding noises and echo effects are eliminated so that the voice is clearer. In cases where an externally mounted microphone is no option, an internal microphone is provided as well.

Hands-Free during the drive – the caller number, phone book entries and other information is clearly shown on the ZE-NC3810 display. The address book of the naviceiver is automatically synchronized with the mobile phone. The Parrot module enables an alphanumeric sorting of phone book entries with an additional search function – a feature that guarantees ease in finding phone book entries, especially for professional use.
